Public Meeting held by the League of Friends and local General Practitioners Thursday 2nd February, 2012

Member of Parliament, the Rt Hon Dr Vincent Cable MP joined a packed hall of local people at the second public meeting, chaired by Baroness Jenny Hilton, to hear about progress on developing a Clinical Strategy and Business Plan for a proposed Social Enterprise Model for Teddington Memorial Hospital. The local situation can be somewhat confusing so in light of this the League of Friends and local General Practitioners felt that it was important to ensure that there is clarity of the main concerns which surround the future of Teddington Memorial Hospital, many of which are not easily visible at the present time. We wish to make it clear for people to understand what the issues are and what we are actually fighting for. MORE>

On Thursday 10th November the League of Friends with local General Practitioners held a very successful Public Meeting to discuss with the community the future of Teddington Memorial Hospital. 350 people plus attended. After a presentation by League Chairman Pamela Bryant the Chairman of the meeting Baroness Hilton opened up question time from the audience. All questions were answered by members of the panel which comprised 3 General Practitioners, League of Friends Advisor, Chairman and a Trustee. MORE>
